Thanks for all the continued generosity of our community to help support the teachers and staff at CHVE. During conference week the hospitality committee was able to provide staff with boxed lunches from Epicurean Catering, cookies and drinks thanks to all of your generous donations.
The Cultural Enrichment committee coordinates and facilitates cultural outreach programs at CHVE.
Volunteers are needed for shifts in the library/media center to help shelve books, check out books to students, do inventory, and work at the book fairs.
Parents are needed to help serve food to K-1 grade students during their lunch periods.

Attend great monthly meetings with speakers that address relevant parenting and educational issues. These will be virtual during the 2020-21 school year.
This event, held every fall, focuses on healthy choices for kids. Volunteers are needed to help prepare for the activities and events planned each day during that week.
We are now collecting donations for the non-main teaching staff for this holiday season.
Each year, the CHVE principal selects two room parents for each classroom based on various criteria. Only parents showing interest are considered for the role. Room parents are responsible for coordinating classroom volunteers, planning class parties/activities, and helping with communications from the PTCO and teachers.
Parent volunteers are needed to help organize the annual science fair, help students with their projects and/or volunteer the day of the event.
