Principal's Message - Bethany Owens

Welcome to Cherry Hills Village Elementary School!

At CHVE, our goal is that ALL kids thrive—not just academically, but socially, emotionally, and personally. Our commitment to the whole wellbeing of our students, staff, and community is at the heart of everything we do. We know that when children feel safe, supported, and connected, they are empowered to learn, grow, and become their best selves.

We are proud to be a part of the Cherry Creek School District that centers its work around the core values of Engagement, Relationships, Equity, Whole Wellbeing, and Growth Mindset.  These values help to guide our daily practices as well as set our goals and vision for who we want to continue to become.  Additionally, we teach students our High Five Behaviors of Be Safe, Be Ready, Be Responsible, Be Respectful, and Be Your Best Self.  These simple and powerful expectations help us create a school culture that fosters kindness and community.  

At Cherry Hills Village Elementary, our students have access to STEM, Art, PE, and Music at all grade levels K-5 as well as an abundance of specialized support from a variety of practices to meet the individual and unique needs of each and every student.  We are proud of the quality of teaching and services that we have here at CHVE and we are committed to continuing to grow in our practices.  

Most importantly, we want every student who walks through our doors to feel a deep sense of belonging. We value the strengths of everyone, celebrate our differences, and collectively work to ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive.
